Lifeguard Services was formed in 1997 by Len Rodriguez, an Ocean Rescue EMT, to help meet the aquatic safety training needs for public safety and community awareness. Len has been a water rescue professional for over 40 years. He is a nationally certified instructor in Flood and Swift Water Rescue and the United States Lifesaving Association Training Officer.
Rodriguez is a long-serving American Red Cross and American Heart Association training instructor. He is highly proficient in instructing both programs. He is a long-serving member of the United States Lifesaving Association (recognized with over 25 years of service) and the International Association of Water Rescue Professionals.
Rodriguez is a devoted athlete member of United States Masters Swimming and a competitive U.S. Masters Swimming coach. He has managed various aquatic venues, including public pools, private resorts, and beaches, in New York and Florida. He is the president of Lifeguard Services, Inc., a professional emergency services training firm and vendor for the Seabob Rescue craft.
